As one local writer holds on for hope that his very good fan theory is true, Marvel Comics announces an upcoming promotion for House Of X & Powers Of X. Marvel is doing launch parties for the book, not suprising, but one of the promotional items is. Marvel is giving out Krakoa Seeds.
Now, astute readers may remember Krakoa as the island that walks like a man, and island the All-New, All-Different X-Men fought in their first mission. A lab grown Krakoa was also the X-Men’s lawn for a while. How does this connect to the fact that some X-Perts believe the X-Men are going to do some gardening on Mars? Well, the jurry is still out.
Still, the X-Men are sowing the seeds of tomorrow. This is in line with the dream of Charles Xavier, a man who had many lovers, who knew the benefits of senstuality, and the raw power of eroticism. And much like Xavier sowing his seed and multiplying, Marvel is hoping to multiply their sales with many varient covers. One of them is by Phil Noto, an artist often credited as being “really good”.
