Just mere months ago, there was a film adaptation of The Dark Phoenix Saga and it wasn’t great. Marvel is hoping we forget about that and instead focus on the celebrating the best X-Men comic ever. There will be variants by top artists on several X-Books over the coming months.
Also celebrated is Chris Claremont’s 50th year of iconic Marvel storytelling. This move is sure to stoke the flames of the fans who won’t rest until Claremont gets an ongoing again. For his part, Claremont isn’t reading Hox/Pox (which is his right) and missing out on the fun. Anyway, here is the press release and pretty pictures.
